Congregation Bet Haverim is a Reconstructionist Jewish community in Atlanta. Our mission, in a nutshell, is to provide contemporary Jewish spiritual, educational, cultural, and social experiences in which an individual can integrate practice of Judaism with other aspects of their life, including social consciousness, intellectual curiosity, sexual orientation, and familial bonds. We serve and support the lesbian, gay, and transgender communities and promote the Reconstructionist concept of Judaism as an evolving religious civilization.

Inspired by the chutzpah of our founders, CBH’s mission is to promote a bold and expansive Jewish identity and culture emphasizing inclusivity, creativity, spirituality and social justice as we uphold our commitment to serve the LGBTQ and allied community.

We are an inclusive, spiritual Jewish community, providing a warm, nurturing environment where we pray, learn, educate, and perpetuate Torah and Jewish values, while serving the greater community. Our Reform Congregation is incredibly vibrant and committed to the Jewish community and a relevant, joyous interpretation of Judaism. With about two hundred religious school students and approximately three hundred member families, we represent one of the fastest growing Reform Congregations in Georgia.

Or Hadash, meaning “new light”, is a home for Jewish connection, for the sacred, for authenticity, and for the seeker. The Temple, a Reform Jewish congregation, is located in midtown Atlanta and is one of American Judaism’s most historic religious institutions. Founded in 1867, it is the city’s oldest and most diverse synagogue. In 2009, The Temple was named by Newsweek Magazine as one of the most vibrant and dynamic Jewish congregations in the country. For over 150 years, we have committed to broadening people’s access to a full Jewish life and have built a tradition of social justice work.

Connecting you to Atlanta Rabbis and other Jewish Resources: Schools, Camps, Synagogues, and Support Groups

n the Jewish community, discussions about mental illness and substance abuse tend to be rare, if they happen at all. As a result, many individuals and their families suffer in private and lack the information necessary to address their issues. The Blue Dove Foundation is working toward advancing these conversations, eradicating shame and educating the community.

Honeymoon Israel’s mission is to provide immersive trips to Israel for locally based cohorts of couples that have at least one Jewish partner, early in their committed relationship, creating communities of couples who are building families with deep and meaningful connections to Jewish life and the Jewish people.

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) offers programs and resources to transform lives. Since 1891, we've helped individuals and families of all faiths live to their full potential.
Guided by Jewish values, we are a welcoming community, and our experienced professionals bring integrity and compassion to their work in the fields of aging and older adults, career counseling, dentistry, mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and need-based support services. We serve ALL individuals regardless of age, race, religion, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation or ability to pay.

Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta promotes social change and creates positive opportunities for Jewish women and girls. Through our work, we support, elevate, and advance women. We are a force for change, addressing gender inequality in the Jewish community. We harness the power of philanthropy, collective wisdom, and women’s voices to advocate for mental health and equity while fighting against economic injustice, violence against women, and gender-based harassment and discrimination in workplaces.

SOJOURN was founded in 2001 as The Rainbow Center. Supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, it was a central point to promote change and inclusion for LGBTQ+ Jews and people of all faiths throughout metro Atlanta. As the country’s social and political attitudes evolved, The Rainbow Center experienced enormous growth.
