Our guides help create a calm and welcoming environment while your sponsoring clergy will provide the religious guidance specific to your conversion.

What you may want to know.
Who arranges a conversion immersion?
Conversion immersions should be coordinated with your sponsoring rabbi or clergy, who will communicate the religious requirements and help arrange the appropriate witnesses.
What should I bring?
MACoM provides preparation supplies, towels, robes, and instructions. If you wear contact lenses, consider bringing glasses. Your clergy will tell you if anything additional is needed.
Will a mikvah guide be present?
A trained guide welcomes you and explains the space. Witnessing arrangements for a conversion may differ from other immersions and should be discussed with your sponsoring clergy in advance.
Can family or friends attend?
Guests may be able to wait in the lobby or gathering room. Please discuss the size and role of your group with your clergy and MACoM before the appointment.
What blessings will I say?
Blessings are available poolside in Hebrew, English, and transliteration. Blessings and ritual requirements vary. Please review the ritual requirements with your sponsoring clergy before your appointment so you know what to expect in the water.

MACoM’s preparation and pool areas include features that support visitors with mobility needs. MACoM is committed to welcoming guests with different needs. Contact the team before your visit so the appropriate arrangements can be made.
